Golden Crispy Coconut Rolls have been well-known as “Thong Muan” in Thailand for hundreds of years. The Thai word “Thong” means “gold”, and the Thai word “Muan” means “rolled”. Together It means - when the dough turns golden, then roll it; though this name the Thai people teach youngsters to make “Thong Muan”.

It all started when we brought Golden Crispy Coconut Rolls ( Thong-Muan in Thai) to our friends as a gift from our mother's home in Loburi (our family has been making this specialty for 80 years). They kept on asking us where they could buy these rolled wafers, so in 1999 we set up our first store in Bangkok though no one believed that our business could survive just selling Thong Muan. From these humble beginnings One-Vilai was launched into a company, the premier provide of high quality rolled wafers and the first local Thai biscuits that meet international standards.
